It combines the warmth of local craftsmanship with a modern aesthetic. The room offers a beautiful view of the mighty Olševa peak and the Savinja River. There is a meadow next to the river, where sheep graze. Everything is grandeur and tranquillity at the same time. At 21m2, the room offers everything for a pleasant stay. Comfortable bed, solid furniture, fireplace, welcome drink, tea and coffee making facilities and a modern bathroom.

"Broštik"
BREAKFAST FOR A GREAT START TO THE DAY In Solčava, breakfast "Broštik" has always been an important meal of the day. At your request, a basket full of Solčava delicacies will be waiting for you at the door at the time of your choice to give you energy for the day ahead. We use only locally selected ingredients. The basket is filled with local meats, cheeses and cottage cheese from the surrounding farms. Several types of bread are served alongside. The vegetables are grown in the garden of our grandmother Marika. She also takes care of the hens so that we always have fresh eggs. Juice and jam are made especially for you from local fruit. The cakes are baked according to the recipes that used to be used in the tavern Pri Rogovilcu.
Sauna
FOR TOTAL RELAXATION A Finnish sauna is also available for private use on request. The sauna area is thoughtfully designed in an Alpine style, with a mix of pine wood and stone. After the sauna, you can refresh yourself with a cold shower made of wooden cobblestones, such as those used in the past on the Solčava farms. You can continue relaxing with a glass of wine, in the room by the fireplace or on the outdoor terrace by the fireplace. We make sure our minibar is always well-stocked with home-brewed beer and quality wine.

Solčava has a lot of potential for further development. People are mainly engaged in forestry, agriculture and tourism. More than 70% of the area of Solčava is covered by forests. The Solčava mountain wood is especially valued for its high quality, achieved through the challenging growing conditions
On the meadows of Solčavsko, one can notice numerous herds of the autochthonous Jezersko – Solčava sheep breed. Sheep's wool represents another potential for the region. With traditional felt making process women from Solčava produce beautiful and useful felt products such as accessories, slippers, clothes, etc. The natural features and the preserved natural and cultural heritage are advantages that are well promoted by tourism here. More and more tourists visit Solčava every year.
That's why our family decided to renovate the inn. The essence of renovation was preserving the heritage of our grandparents. Our son Žiga chose the renovation of the guesthouse as the topic of his master thesis at Faculty of Architecture in Ljubljana. He also designed the furnishing. Our daughters Živa and Ajda helped decorating rooms, they prepared the business plan of the renovation and developed marketing strategy in form of stories told by the rooms. The whole process of renovation was supervised by parents Mira and Boštjan, who provided financial, organizational and moral support.
