Boutique rooms tell a story

There are six uniquely designed boutique rooms. Four are larger and offer extra comfort. Through the windows, you can watch the peaks of the Kamniško Savinja Alps and the Savinja River, whose gurgling sound helps you get a good night's sleep. Even the smallest details have been taken into consideration when selecting the furnishings. Each room has its own story, with motifs and inspiration from the local environment. Six boutique rooms are available at Pri Rogovilcu. The themes in the rooms are dedicated to the values on which we build our family tradition. We are proud that our guests experience a part of this. Everything we value and highlight is intertwined with the advantages of the Solčavsko region, which attracts many travellers with its exceptional natural features and sustainable tourism.

"Broštik"

BREAKFAST FOR A GREAT START TO THE DAY In Solčava, breakfast "Broštik" has always been an important meal of the day. At your request, a basket full of Solčava delicacies will be waiting for you at the door at the time of your choice to give you energy for the day ahead. We use only locally selected ingredients. The basket is filled with local meats, cheeses and cottage cheese from the surrounding farms. Several types of bread are served alongside. The vegetables are grown in the garden of our grandmother Marika. She also takes care of the hens so that we always have fresh eggs. Juice and jam are made especially for you from local fruit. The cakes are baked according to the recipes that used to be used in the tavern Pri Rogovilcu.

Sauna

FOR TOTAL RELAXATION A Finnish sauna is also available for private use on request. The sauna area is thoughtfully designed in an Alpine style, with oak wood and stone. After the sauna, you can refresh yourself with a cold shower made of wooden cobblestones, such as those used in the past on the Solčava farms. You can continue relaxing with a glass of wine, in the room by the fireplace or on the outdoor terrace by the fireplace. We make sure our minibar is always well-stocked with home-brewed beer and quality wine.

    Breakfast in a basket, covered with a gorgeous tablecloth, adding to the homeliness. The contents are attractive to the eye and even more so to the stomach:-) , homemade, tasty, just the right amount of everything... I've never eaten a breakfast of croutons with cracklings and milk anywhere before. I'm a fan of meat products, but still, a positive surprise. Otherwise, the close proximity to the river, the sushi club this year, still enough to cool down, a little "yakuzi", I enjoyed it immensely...

    A pleasant, thoughtfully designed stay with comfortable beds, a peaceful view and a delicious local breakfast. The accommodation was excellent. Everything was clean and well maintained. The room overlooked a quiet stream and a meadow with sheep - absolutely idyllic. Breakfast was the highlight. They brought us a basket full of authentic local food, sourced from their own produce and that of their neighbours. Our hosts were wonderful - very hospitable and helpful.
    It is clear that this space has been designed with care and attention to detail. This is truly Slovenian hospitality at its best!

    Exceptional accommodation in the Upper Savinja Valley This spacious and beautifully decorated room is accessible from a shared, elegantly furnished entrance lobby. Each room had a different theme. Beautiful historic building with a lovely terrace. In the morning we woke up to the sounds of the river and sheep... Delicious homemade breakfast brought to us in a beautifully arranged basket!

    Amazing!! Simply amazing. I booked at the last minute for one night and stayed two. The host was so friendly and knowledgeable about the region. The breakfast was exceptional. The room was spacious and comfortable with a beautiful view of the mountains. My room had a large comfortable bed, a table with two chairs by the window, a sofa to relax on and plenty of cubes to store clothes and travel stuff. The Honor wine and beer system just outside my room was handy. And very clean with new furniture. Good internet. What else can I say. Very nice.

    Beautiful apartment in a great location! It enjoys a great location, next to the river and the mountains. There are some hiking trails nearby, but you will need a car or a bike to get around. Our host was very friendly and helpful! The room was clean and spacious.
